From Potomac Mills mall, distance is (211 miles).  Time approximately 4 hours.

I-95 south, exit 295 south toward “Rocky Mount, NC”(approx.68 miles from Potomac Mills Mall), exit Route 64 east toward “Norfolk” (82 miles), exit #264 onto Route 664 south toward “Nags Head” & “Suffolk” (148 miles), exit #15B onto Route 64 toward “Chesapeake” (166 miles), exit #291 onto Route 168 south (176 miles) which ends at Route 158 continue straight on 158 south (at approx.211miles from Potomac Mills Mall).

Cross over Wright Brothers Memorial Bridge stay in right lane to continue south on Route 158 “the Bypass” road as it’s called on the Outer Banks, drive past the Wright Brothers Memorial (on the right) get in the left lane, turn left  at 2^nd light onto Martin Street ( CVS and Fuji Steak House on the corners) take 1st right onto Wrightsville Avenue, the house is on the left in the middle of the block.

            1223 Wrightsville Avenue turn left on Martin street, at the traffic light turn right onto the Bypass Route 158 north, continue over the Wright Brother’s Memorial Bridge at approx.37 miles route 158 turns left toward Elizabeth City continue straight on route 168 north (56 miles from house to VA/NC state line).

                        optional: 2 miles after Southland Center turn left at 2^nd traffic light onto Business 168north/Battlefield Blvd. ( sign will say toll road ahead), past Hickory High School on right next traffic light turn left then 1^st right will be entrance ramp for 168 north (64 mile).

otherwise continue straight on Route 168 through toll, exit for I-64 west toward “Richmond/Suffolk” (73 miles), left exit #299B onto route 664 “Bowers Hill/Suffolk/Newport News/Richmond”, stay left route 664 toward “Hampton/Richmond”, pass through James River Tunnel/Bridge (82 miles),left exit for Route 64 toward “Williamsburg/ Richmond” (102 miles), Hampton Colliseum will be on the right, exit #200 onto I-295 north toward “Washington”, (164 miles), left exit #43 onto I-95 north toward “Washington”, (176 miles), continue north on I-95 to home. Potomac Mills Mall is approximately 420 miles).
